that while the setup of the heist in the film is intriguing, the director's ultimate reveal is not as satisfying as it could be. The main character, referred to as Dark Devil, starts off with shades of grey but eventually becomes a generic Robinhood-type hero, which may be disappointing for fans of Ajith's more morally ambiguous characters in films like "Mankatha." However, the reviewer notes that the film is largely entertaining as long as it stays dark and action-packed, with Ajith's over-the-top performance providing much of the entertainment value. Overall, while "Thunivu" may not deliver a knockout punch, it appears to be an enjoyable watch for fans of heist and action films.

It seems like the film you are describing has some issues with tonal consistency and character development. While commentary can be important in a film, it should not come at the cost of the overall narrative and audience engagement. It is important for the film to maintain a clear tone and stay true to the nature of the story being told. If the protagonist's actions are morally questionable, it is important for the film to address that in a way that is consistent with its overall tone and themes.

Character development is also crucial for a film to be engaging and impactful. If the audience doesn't understand where the protagonist is coming from or what motivates them, it can be difficult to fully invest in their journey.

It is important for the film to provide enough context and backstory to give the audience a sense of the character's arc and growth throughout the story.

Overall, it sounds like the film could benefit from more careful attention to its tone and character development in order to fully engage and satisfy its audience.
